During the warmest time, from November to March, the temperature can reach 10-12C but mostly stays around 5C. Sometimes the temperature drops below zero, but more often, this is due to strong winds. It rains in the city for almost a whole year. Therefore, tourists should consider this and bring raincoats and warm clothes.

December-February is the best time to plan a trip to Ushuaia and enjoy its scenery. It is these months that, according to the local calendar, are considered the summer period, when the day becomes longer and reaches 16 hours instead of 10, and the vegetation takes on green hues. Ushuaia can be easily reached by plane from Buenos Aires in 3.5 hours.
